Jaipur

Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan and it is one of the fabulous cities when it comes to the heritage of India. It is also called the pink city and was named after Maharaja Jai singh. The city is known for some of the splendid monuments that are not probably found in any other part of the world. One of the monuments is the Hawa Mahal. This is the monument people love to see in this part of the world because of its crown like structure. The king was a very strong worshipper of lord Vishnu and therefore he got this monument constructed in the form of crown of Lord Vishnu. There is another mesmerizing monument and the name of the structure is Jal Mahal. This structure is located amid the waters and is therefore called the Jal Mahal. On the northwest part of the city, one can find the very famous Nahargarh fort. The king of the place was the lover of astronomy and one can find the Jantar mantar. This is in the list of the world heritage sites as per the UNESCO. The construction of Jaipur city commenced from the year 1727 ad and this is one of the preferable cities in India from the point of view of living. The city of Jaipur was planned as per the vastu shastra.

Move a distance of more than ten km from the city of Jaipur and one can find the beautiful fort of Amer. It is said that the princess of Amer was married to the famous Mughal king Akbar. Among the splendid attractions of this part of the world, one can find the city palace. It is a vast palace of the king and among the major attraction for both the domestic and the international tourists.
