DETAILED ITINERARY

Day 01: Arrival / Delhi
At the airport, you will see that Tree Trunk Travel representative is waiting to give a warm welcome and later he will escort you to your hotel, previously reserved.
After upon arrival in Hotel discuss your tour itinerary with our representative in Lobby and after that our representative will help you to check into formalities Overnight at Hotel

Day 02: Delhi / Srinagar (SG 122 – 1020 / 1140 Hrs)
Morning after breakfast transfer to airport to board the flight to Srinagar. Meeting and assistance upon arrival at Srinagar airport and transfer to Hotel.
In the afternoon you take a shikara ride on Dal Lake, where you visit the floating vegetable gardens & Open Dal Lake . While riding the Shikara’s there are plenty of opportunities for bird watching with plentiful species including Kingfisher, Little Bittern, Common Pariah Kites, Grebe etc.

Day 03: Srinagar
Morning we will commence the tour from beautiful temples. We will visit the some of the famous temples are Shankacharya Temple, Martand Sun Temple, Kheer Bhavani Temple.
In the afternoon take a tour of world famous Mughal Gardens, Nishant Bagh and Shalimar Bagh.

Day 04: Srinagar / Pahalgam / Srinagar
Full day excursion to Pahalgam 2440 Mtrs (vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag sulpher spring. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. In the evening return back to Houseboat.

Day 05: Srinagar / Kargil
Post breakfast we drive to Leh via Sonmarg, One of the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. In Sonmarg one can take a pony ride (at your own cost) to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains round the year. Upon arrival in Kargil we check in at our hotel for overnight stay.

Day 06: Kargil – Lamayuru – Uleytokpo
After leisurely breakfast, leave for Uleytokpo. On the way you can visit the dramatically located Lamayuru monastery and the adjoining “Moonland” hills.

Day 07: Uleytokpo – Alchi – Likir – Leh
After breakfast, we depart for Alchi, visit the world's famous monastery built in the 11th century by Lotsava Rinchen Zangpo. Alchi monastery is very different from the rest as it has a fusion of Tibetan and Kashmiri Art. After that, we continue our drive to visit Likir monastery.
Upon arrival at Leh check into hotel.

Day 08: Leh – Shey – Thiskey – Hemis - Leh
Morning after breakfast Visit the Hemis Monastery – The richest and the largest monastery in Ladakh, on the same route, way back to Leh, we’ll visit Thiksey Monastery which belongs to red hat sect of Tibetan Buddhism, and Shey Palace - summer palace of the kings of Ladakh called Singey Namgyal. Facing Shey across the river Indus lies the Stok Palace Museum. A visit to the museum will be followed by a drive back to Leh. Overnight at the hotel in Leh.

Day 09: Leh – Nubra Valley
Morning we depart towards Northwards across the Khardong La the highest motorable road in the world, which is at a hight of 5570 mts. (18300 ft.) after a brief halt at the pass, we continue our drive to a different landscape. We arrive at the village of Hunder in Nubra Valley, check-in to a tented camp.

Day 10: Nubra
Morning we drive or walk up to visit Diskit Monastery. After that, we visit the Double Humped Camel Breeding Center. This camel also known as the Bactrian Camel is the principal animal of inner Asia used especially on the Northern part of the route beyond Karakoram Pass. Overnight at Fixed tented camp / Resort

Day 11: Nubra / Leh
Morning, we drive back to Leh from the same route across the Khardong La pass. Upon arrival in Leh, we check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh. If time permit Visit to Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa.

Day 12: Leh / Delhi (AI 446 – 1115 / 1235 Hrs)
Morning transfer to airport to board the flight to Delhi. Meeting and assistance upon arrival at airport and transfer to hotel.
