This temple of Lord Shiva represents the classic Chola architecture. The city of Thrichnapally is well known for its majestic temples and one can find temples like the Rock fort, the Srirangam etc. From Ttrichnapally, one can move to the place called Vailankanni. The place is known for the famous church well known in the Chjristian world. It is said that the Blessed Virgin Mary had appeared in this part of the world and a church was built in her honor. The people of tamilnadu speak Tamil considered to be one of the oldest languages of the world.
